When and how to enrol
Training programs are offered on a rotating calendar basis, with regular commencement dates. Find a course online and enrol or get in contact with us to find out when your chosen training program is running next.
Once you’ve supplied all of your relevant enrolment documentation (including a LLN assessment) and fees are paid, we can commence the acceptance process.
Some courses have specific entry requirements. We will advise of these requirements prior to finalising your enrolment. Find out more below. Enrolling into formal study can be a long and complicated process, particularly if accessing funding. Don’t worry, we will coach you along the journey.
Certificate III in Construction Waterproofing
To complete this course, you must be a qualified builder or have a relevant construction trade qualification with a minimum of two years continuous work experience completed in the past 36 months.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate a sufficient level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills.
This program requires candidates to be physically able to successfully participate and complete the program.

Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building)
For face-to-face delivery, prior to enrolment, candidates must:
- Have significant building and construction sector experience: a minimum of fourth year apprentice or one year post trade
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments
- Recording device such as a mobile phone/video recorder
- Students must have access to a construction worksite
- You'll be required to conduct practical project applications on site, record them, and get the required sign-off by a qualified person for the projects.
For RPL, prior to enrolment, candidates must be:
- Demonstrate and provide relevant evidence of at least four years’ experience on-site supervising all trades with a licensed builder in low rise building projects
- Demonstrate a sufficient level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration.

Diploma of Building & Construction (Building)
For face-to-face delivery, prior to enrolment candidates must:
- Demonstrate a minimum of two years commercial sector industry experience or hold a current Builder Low Rise licence (Certificate IV in Building & Construction qualification is a mandatory requirement for accelerated program).
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN)
- Have access to internet and email
- Have access to a construction site
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs, Adobe Reader and Google Chrome, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments
- Students will be required to conduct practical project applications onsite and get the required sign-off by a qualified person for the projects.
For RPL, prior to enrolment, candidates must be:
- Demonstrate and provide relevant evidence of at least four years’ experience on-site supervising all trades with a licensed builder in medium rise building projects
- Demonstrate a sufficient level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration.

Advanced Diploma of Building & Construction (Management)
For face-to-face delivery, prior to enrolment candidates must:
- Demonstrate a minimum of 3 years building and construction industry specific experience in commercial construction work (over three stories), or completion of a Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) qualification, or hold a current Medium rise licence
- Have a solid level of operational knowledge and skill at a Diploma level
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have access to a construction worksite
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs, Google Chrome and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments
- Students will be required to conduct practical project applications onsite and get the required sign-off by a qualified person for the projects.
For RPL, prior to enrolment, candidates must be:
- Demonstrate and provide relevant evidence of at least four years’ experience on-site supervising all trades with a licensed builder in open building projects
- Demonstrate a sufficient level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration.

Building Leaders in Construction (Diploma of Leadership & Management)
Due to the exclusive nature of this program, prior to enrolments, candidates should be:
- Able to demonstrate current employment within the commercial construction sector for at least two years’ as a site supervisor, leading hand, finishing foreman, structural foreman or similar
- Nominated by an employer and have access to a suitable mentor throughout the program
- Able to demonstrate a high level of Language, Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) skills
- Able to commit to attending all ‘live-in’ workshops scheduled for the program
- Able to access to internet and various communication technology.
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft programs, Google Chrome and Adobe Reader, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments
Certificate IV in Project Management Practice
For face-to-face delivery, prior to enrolment candidates must:
- Students wishing to enrol will be required to complete an eligibility document that demonstrates they have at least 12 months experience working in a project orientated workplace and have contributed to the management of projects.
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft Programs, Adobe Reader and Google Chrome, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments.
Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
Students must:
- Students wishing to enrol will be required to complete an eligibility document that demonstrates a minimum of 48 months working in the construction industry
- Demonstrate a satisfactory level of language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) skills
- Have access to internet and email
- Have a modern laptop (preferably Windows based) with Microsoft Programs, Adobe Reader and Google Chrome, that can be used throughout the course duration for class work and assessments.
Master Builders will consider all enrolments individually and inform candidates of the outcome prior to program commencement.
