Learn to manage employee work stress and trauma
The Queensland Managing the risk of psychosocial hazards at work Code of Practice 2022 has cast light on the role of employers and businesses in preventing psychological injury at work and promoting improved mental health for workers.
Master Builders has developed training to assist leaders including project managers and site managers in the construction industry to assist workers deal with the pressures involved in our industry. This training is designed to help leaders build resilience at their work, and to assist their workers respond to stress and trauma at work.

This Emerging Women in Construction livestream course will outline:
- How to assist workers build resilience
- How to identify work stress and trauma
- How to ensure work does not adversely affect the mental health of workers
- How to manage and prevent stress and trauma creating psychological injury.

Cost | Funded course price: Free for Master Builders members and businesses with an apprentice participating in the EWIC program^ ^The EWIC (Emerging Women in Construction) program is funded by the Queensland Government through the Women in Trades Mentoring Program. To be eligible for the funded price you must be a Master Builders member or be a building or construction company with at least one EWIC program participant. |
Outcome | This is not a Nationally Recognised Training course. You will receive a Statement of Completion. Students will receive the workshop training badge to include on their own marketing upon completion. |
Eligibility | All participants must be a Master Builders member or be a building or construction company with at least one Emerging Women in Construction program participant. |
