If you’re a builder or trade contractor about to start a domestic building project (building or renovating) over $16,000 in Victoria, you’re legally required to purchase Domestic Building Insurance (DBI) on behalf of the homeowner. In order to purchase DBI, you’re required to first hold eligibility with VMIA which you can apply for through our Master Builders Insurance Services team.
