COVID-19 update: NSW entry declaration now required (30 Jun 2021)

Changes to QLD/NSW border crossing you need to know about.

UPDATE 7 JULY 2021: you must now complete the declaration each time you enter, but not more than once every 72 hours (3 days).

The NSW Government has announced that from 12.01am on 30 June 2021, if you are entering NSW from Queensland, you must complete a NSW entry declaration form within 24 hours of entry.

You must complete the declaration each time you enter (but not more than once per day) – so if you are travelling across the border for construction work purposes, you are only required to complete once per day.
