In partnership with Master Builders, Lennium Group has announced its display village for Lilywood Landings – its community in the heart of the new Moreton Bay city of Waraba.
Set to feature 16 of the best-know national, state, and local builders, and presenting 29 home designs, the display village is touted as the first and only new home showcase in Lilywood.
Designs will range from large family homes to more compact, low-maintenance options, suited to many different lot sizes, and feature the latest in building trends including sustainable designs, and modern kitchens, bathrooms, and outdoor living.
The builders will include Brighton Homes, Metricon, Simonds, Burbank, Integrale Homes, Hudson Homes, Nu Trend Homes, Neptune Homes, Catapult Homes, Ultra Living Homes, Zoom Constructions, Glenvill Homes, McLachlan Homes, Creation Homes, Arcadia Homes and Roonsleigh Homes.
Master Builders Queensland CEO Paul Bidwell said the new display village would be an amazing source of inspiration for home buyers in the growing corridor.
“Master Builders is proud to join the Lilywood Landings community. This groundbreaking display village is the result of two and half years’ work, bringing some of Queensland’s most respected and sought-after local home builders together in this exciting new locale,” Mr Bidwell said.
“Home buyers will be spoiled for choice by the cutting-edge design on offer in the enviable location of Waraba, Moreton Bay’s newest city.
“As an industry, we are very excited. This has been a long time coming, and we congratulate Lennium on their perseverance in bringing this vision to life. It’s a wonderful outcome, particularly as we find ourselves in an ongoing housing crisis.”
Lennium Group Development Manager Ian Worthington said the first display village in Waraba, formerly Caboolture West, would include a wide variety of home designs to suit many lifestyles, budgets, and family dynamics.
“Lilywood Landings is proud to announce the upcoming commencement of Waraba's first display village, a collaboration with Master Builders Queensland,” Mr Worthington said.
“This exciting development reflects our anticipation that Lilywood Landings will make a valuable contribution to the region with much needed and affordable new homes, illustrating the lifestyle our future residents can look forward to,” he said.
“We anticipate completing display village blocks later this year with the first of 28 homes opening their doors for inspection in 2025.”
Mr Bidwell, and Master Builders Manager – Display Villages, Greg Byrne, were there to celebrate as Lennium Group Directors Nicholas Lennon and Anthony Lennon turned the first sod on the project on 9 February. Queensland Minister for Housing, Local Government, and Planning and Minister for Public Works, Meaghan Scanlon, and City of Moreton Bay Mayor, Peter Flannery, were on hand to help the Lennium team break ground and see the vision for Lilywood Landings first-hand.
“The significance of this event, and the importance it plays in the future of land supply in South East Queensland, gives our builder group certainty that this is no longer a plan, it is a reality,” Mr Byrne said.
“To play my part in enabling our builder group the chance to be part of a 30-home strong village, in prime position and adjacent to ongoing future land supply is something I am proud of and can’t wait to bring to life.”
Spanning around 70 hectares, Lilywood Landings will provide a total of 705 lots alongside 23 hectares of parklands, networks of walking and cycle paths and a range of everyday services such as a convenience store and childcare centre.
