Industry employers are required to submit a worker service return to QLeave by 31 July. The return is a list of all workers QLeave has recorded as employed by you. You need to tell QLeave how many days they worked for you, add new workers and terminate those no longer working for you.

QLeave has recently re-launched online services, so there’s some things you need to be aware of to make it easier to complete your return.

What do I need to do?

  1. Log in to online services: if you haven’t logged in to online services since March 2021, you will need to reset your password before you can log in. For help resetting your password, please read the instructions on QLeave’s website. If you’ve already reset your password, please login.
  2. Start your new workers: you need to start new workers who joined your business in 2020-21 before completing your return. Find out more about this.
  3. Add service for your workers: you can complete your return either by entering information for your workers directly into the online return, or by downloading a spreadsheet. Read the Step-by-step instructions on QLeave’s website watch the video guide to find out how to do it.
  4. Submit your service return to QLeave: once you’ve added service for each of your workers, you can submit your return to QLeave. If there’s any errors, you will need to fix these before submitting the return.
