New face at the helm in Townsville
10 July 2023
Alana Hopkins has been appointed the new Master Builders Regional Manager for North Queensland.
Helping local builders bolster their businesses and supporting and advocating for members is at the top of her agenda.
“I’m looking forward to gaining an even stronger understanding of our current members and forging relationships with stakeholders and the local community, to continue to build a robust presence for Master Builders and our members,” Alana said.
Originally from the Northern Territory, Alana moved to Queensland where she took up a position as Community Program Specialist at the North Queensland Toyota Cowboys.
She has previously held the role of Regional Manager at the Chamber of Commerce in the Northern Territory.
“Alana’s experience working in business development as well as the Townsville community made her a standout candidate,” Master Builders’ CEO, Paul Bidwell said.
“Her enthusiasm for making a difference is evident, and I’m confident she’ll be a trusted and sought-after voice for our members and the local industry as a whole.”
Alana said she was excited to bring a fresh approach to the role.
“I am aware of the challenges that the building and construction industry face, especially post-Covid, and I’m looking forward to speaking with our members to hear from them firsthand how they are affected by skills shortages and the changes in legislation,” she said.
“I take pride in seeing how members can use our services to strengthen their businesses, to make sure they are compliant and always ready for whatever this dynamic industry throws at them.”
